Red, White and Blue tournament Friday
PLATTSBURGH — The Barracks will hold its annual Betsy Ross Red, White and Blue Golf Tournament Friday at 8 a.m.
The tournament is a two-man team event with full handicap. Golfers will tee off from the red tees, then the white tees and then the blue tees, which will be repeated for 18 holes. Both scores will be added together and their handicap will be deducted from the score.
Entry fee is $25 per person and includes skins. Nonmembers will be charged an additional $30 for green fees and cart.

Girls’ Cardinal Hoop Camp to be held July 7-11
PLATTSBURGH — The Cardinal Hoop Camp for girls ages eight to 17 still has openings. The camp will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 7 to 11 at Memorial Hall on the Plattsburgh State campus.

St. Alexander’s Classic July 11
PLATTSBURGH — The annual St. Alexander’s Golf Classic will be held at the Barracks Gold Course July 11 with a noon shotgun start.
The cost is $50 for Barracks members and $60 for nonmembers. Fee includes cart, golf, complimentary gifts, BBQ chicken dinner and much more.

Northern Insuring/Chamber golf tourney July 11
PERU — The annual Northern Insuring/Chamber of Commerce Golf Classic will be held at 10 a.m. on July 11 at Adirondack Golf & Country Club. The team entry fee of $495 includes a team of four, lunch, cart, dinner and fun.

Hospice of the North Country golf tourney July 16
ROUSES POINT — The 19th-annual Hospice of the North Country Golf Tournament, formerly known as the Carol Wallett Memorial Tournament, will be held Wednesday, July 16 at the North Country Golf Club. There will be a shotgun start at 1 p.m. The event has generated over $400,000 for the agency since 1995.
The entry fee of $75 for non-members and $55 for members includes greens fees, golf cart, prizes, t-shirt and BBQ lunch. A complimentary BBQ lunch will be served following tournament play is complete.
For a donation of $50 or more, hole sponsors are recognized with a hole sign in full view of the tournament field. For a donation of $200 or more, patron sponsors receive a place on the complimentary t-shirt that is presented to all tournament players. For a donation of $500 or more, major sponsors receive a larger space on the complimentary t-shirt that is given to all tournament players.

Peru Football Camp July 21 to 24
PERU — The Peru Youth Football Camp will be for ages 6 to 13 years old and will be held July 21 through July 24.

Golf tournament set for July 31
PLATTSBURGH — Applications for the Old House, Old Course, Old Brewery Golf Tournament are being accepted by the Kent Delord House Museum.
The tournament will be held on July 31 with a shotgun start of 8:30 a.m. at Bluff Point Golf Resort. Prizes, including rounds of golf for your foursome at four golf courses in New York and Vermont, a night in Lake Placid, and countless gifts from Yuengling Brewery.
