Peru Fun Run results
PERU — The Town of Peru Recreation Department had the last of five fun runs on Monday.
Of the 68 total participates in the program, 33 runners hit the trails of Hayworth Mason Park.
Noah Barton won the ¼-mile with a time of 2:14, while Madeline Welc won the ½-mile with a time of 3:49 as well as the mile with a time of 8:12.

T-H Marine FLW Bass Fishing League information
PLATTSBURGH — The FLW Bass Fishing League (BFL) tournament season will continue Saturday, July 13, with a T-H Marine FLW BFL tournament on Lake Champlain presented by Navionics.
The tournament will be held Saturday, July 13, and is the third event of 2019 in the Northeast Division, which is presented by Gajo Baits.
Up to 400 boaters and co-anglers will be competing for top awards of up to $8,000 and $3,000 respectively in the one-day tournament.
Anglers will take off at 6 a.m., and the weigh-in is scheduled for 2 p.m. at the Dock Street Landing in Plattsburgh.
Fitness class offered
PLATTSBURGH — The Town of Plattsburgh Parks and Recreation Department has teamed up with local POUND Fitness instructor Alison Lutz.
The classes in July will be held at the May Currier Recreation Park (305 Tom Miller Road, Plattsburgh) from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The August classes will be held at East Morrisonville Recreation Park (22 Bullis Road, Morrisonville) from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
POUND is an energetic fitness class that helps launch participants to new heights of self-worth, happiness and human connection. In this cardio jam session, which is inspired by drumming, it is an exhilarating full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning and strength training with zumba – inspired movements.
Cost is free to all who participate. For ages 13 and up, Ripstix are provided by the instructor, but please bring a yoga mat.
Classes are limited to the first 15 participants.

PSU women’s soccer ID Clinic Aug. 3
PLATTSBURGH — The Plattsburgh State women’s soccer team is set to host its Summer Elite Prospect ID Clinic Saturday, Aug. 3, at the Field House Complex.
The clinic is open to all high-school-aged girls field players and goalkeepers.
Registration is open to all high school-aged female players and is limited to the first 30 people who sign up.
The cost of the clinic is $75.
The Plattsburgh State women’s soccer coaching staff will be on hand to provide instruction, as will several current Plattsburgh State women’s soccer student-athletes.
The purpose of the clinic is to provide an excellent training environment for players looking to gain an edge in their upcoming high school and club seasons. Players will be trained in a competitive environment. The session will include technical ball work, passing and receiving, finishing, individual attacking and defending and tactical training.
