Willsboro holds off Tupper Lake

WILLSBORO — In a game that remained relatively close throughout, the Willsboro girls came out with a win.

Samantha Harrison dropped a game-high 12 points in the Warriors' non-conference 26-21 victory against Section X's Tupper Lake.

"We were unable to get a rhythm offensively against their man to man, but we managed to get a few stops and scored down the stretch when we needed them most," Willsboro coach Nick Arnold said.

The Warriors held a 14-10 advantage at halftime.

Mallory Arnold and Kaili Bourdeau both added four points to help Willsboro in the points category.

Shannon Soucy recorded a team-high nine points to lead the way for the Lumberjacks.
