ELLENBURG — The Eagles completed the sweep by winning the third set, 26-24, after facing an 18-11 deficit.

Beekmantown's Elizabeth Hynes showed the way with 15 points and 16 assists, and Eagles co-coach Kaylen Fessette complimented the serving of Erin Gregory.

Bobcats coach Elizabeth Brown said Northern Adirondack played its best game of the season.

“The whole team contributed, communicated and put in their best effort,” Brown said. “Anna Brown, Cora Barnaby, Jadyn LaValley and Emily Fleury showed their leadership and experience on the court with their encouragement and communication to make plays throughout three well-fought matches.

“There were many long volleys and amazing saves by both teams. There was so much energy on the court from both teams.

“Beekmantown is a well-coached, hard-hitting and serving team, and we were able to keep our receiving errors to a minimum compared to the last time we played against them. Alibra Rodriguez, Lizzie Hynes and Brooke Ruest kept us on our toes with their hits and serving.”
