PSU skaters to face Oswego

PLATTSBURGH — The No. 1 Plattsburgh State women's hockey team will be traveling to face off against No. 2 Oswego in Northeast Women's Hockey League action at 7 p.m.

The Cardinals (14-1-0, 10-0-0) are coming off a 6-0 win against Buffalo State, and previously played the Lakers on Nov. 8 and Nov. 9, defeating them 7-1 and 3-0, respectively.

Nicole Unsworth scored twice for Plattsburgh against the Bengals and has racked up 20 points with six goals and 14 assists.

Annie Katonka has also piled up 20 points for the Cardinals with 11 goals and nine assists.

Oswego (9-3-1, 6-2-1) is also coming off a win as the Lakers defeated Morrisville State, 4-3, Saturday.

Philomena Teggart recorded two goals for Oswego in its recent game and has registered five goals and eight assists so far this season.

Eryn Stewart leads for the Lakers with five goals and 12 assists for 17 points, and Megan Teachout is tied for most goals with six and has also made 10 assists.

Plattsburgh's Ashley Davis posts a .960 save percentage and has earned three shutouts, and Lilla Nease has earned a .950 save percentage in six games played.

Rachael Farmer is Oswego's lead goalkeeper and sports a .904 save percentage with one shutout.
