PERU -- Tyler Hoey accounted for three hits, including two doubles, to help lead Peru to a 16-2 victory over Northern Adirondack in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference baseball Monday afternoon.

Nick Lamica added two hits, including a triple, and three RBI for the Indians (7-6, 6-4). Alec Currier and John Mackintosh chipped in with doubles.

Peru jumped out to a 5-0 advantage in the first inning.

Aaron Tenbuuren went the first six innings for the pitching win, striking out seven.

Tyler Brassard paced the Bobcats with two doubles, while Dylan Lashway added a double and single, and Mitchell Rowe, a double.

Andy McDonald was the NAC starting and losing pitcher.

The Indians host Beekmantown today, with the Eagles needing to win the game to wrap up the CVAC Division I championship.
