The Plattsburgh North Stars put their passing attack in full gear Saturday night.
J.D. Moore tossed four touchdowns and amassed over 250 yards through the air in the Stars' 40-3 victory over the New York Stallions in the inaugural North Stars Hall of Fame Game at Plattsburgh High School.
Jordon Keleher, Nick O'Meara, Trevor St. Clair and Heath Geiser caught touchdown passes of 18, 10, 45 and 10, respectively.
St. Clair led Plattsburgh in receiving, catching three passes for 97 yards in addition to the touchdown.
Running back Zach Blocker added a productive game on the ground, rushing for two touchdowns and compiling over 70 yards.
Marvin Jenkins, Kenji Jones and Elija Parks also made big contributions to a rushing attack that totaled 200 yards as the Stars improved to 3-0 in Empire Football League action.
Moore, who completed 12-of-20 passes, hit Chris Fish on a mid-range strike across the middle on the first play from scrimmage, and Fish took the ball to the 1-yard line before Blocker pounded in his first rushing touchdown.
The Plattsburgh signal-caller was good on his first four passes before throwing five straight incompletions, followed by five consecutive completions. Three of his last eight passes went for touchdowns.
The Stars shut out the Stallions for the last 53:22 of the game after Jimmy Kazalski booted in a 32-yard kick for New York's only score.
Plattsburgh's defense gave up only 179 total yards, and Joey Painter intercepted two of New York quarterback James Champen's passes.
