Clinton, Hollister take down Tompkins Cortland, 4-1

PLATTSBURGH — Rylee Hollister scored one goal and added two assists to anchor Clinton Community College in its 4-1 win over Tompkins Cortland Community College in Region III men’s soccer Saturday.

The Cougars’ Alex Chapman was responsible for a goal and an assist, and Andrew Follmer and Nick Shantie also tallied for Clinton.

Adam Darrah saved three of the four shots he faced.

Jonnathan Camas accounted for the Panthers’ lone goal in the 74th minute.

The Cougars held a 26-8 advantage in shots.

PLATTSBURGH — Cristina Torres’ goal in the 85th minute sent the Panthers past the Cougars.

Clinton’s Juliana Gardner tied the game at 1-all on Avery Lambert’s assist in the 77th minute.

Torres finished with two goals, and she opened scoring only 3:44 before the halftime whistle.

Paris Good assisted on the opening tally.

The Cougars’ Paige Chilton rolled up 13 saves in net.
