OSHKOSH, Wis. -- Plattsburgh State's Toni Wiszowaty earned her third All-America citation this academic year with a second-place finish Thursday in the women's 10,000-meter run at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Wiszowaty crossed the line in 34 minutes and 59 seconds. The junior was ranked No. 1 in the nation going in, but was 11 seconds shy of the winning time.

Wiszowaty will also compete in Saturday's 5,000-meter finals.

Junior Alyssa Recny was 13th in the 10,000 meters with a time of 37:11.

On the men's side, John Daly was in second place in the decathlon after five events with 3,723 points. He won the long jump and placed third in the high jump, fourth in the 400, eight in the 100 and 10th in the shot put.

Jason Dessureault finished third in his heat in the 400-meter hurdles with a 53.31, but did not make the finals.

The Cardinals 4x400 relay squad took fourth in its heat in 3:22.75.
