Cards fall to Skidmore

SARATOGA SPRINGS — The Plattsburgh State men's basketball team suffered a 64-60 loss to Skidmore College in a non-conference game Monday.

The Thoroughbreds (1-3-0) led 32-31 at halftime and held their narrow lead for the remainder of the game.

The Cardinals' Travis Cox finished with a game-high 28 points, and Nick DeAngelis chipped in 14 points for Plattsburgh (2-3-0).

Ryan Murunge and Ty Lamport each scored 14 points for Skidmore, and the Thoroughbreds totaled eight triples.

Plattsburgh State will return to the court Friday, Dec. 6, at Oneonta.
