Kyle Knight scores 10 of his 17 points in the fourth quarter to help PHS hold off Westport for a 76-68 victory. Westport's Bo McKinley leads all scorers with 27 points while teammate Nathan Gay pours in 23 points, including the 1,000th of his career.
Matt Berry records his 100th career coaching victory as Peru defeats Ticonderoga 66-41. Kaleb Gohlke leads the Indians with 23 points while teammate Robert Duquette chips in with the 14 points and 11 rebounds. Robert Kearns nets 14 for Ticonderoga and Nick Mars, 10.
Art Graves wins the 5K in 19:26 and Cassie Sellars is the top female with a time of 20:35 in the Annual Rouses Point Frostbite Run.
Danyle Rockwell earns a triplicate award, bowling 3 games of 256 for a 768 series in the Mahogany Ridge women's league at Riverside Lanes.
Ryan Latinville and Jordan Conroy each net hat tricks as PHS extends its winning streak to 16 games with an 8-1 victory over NCCS.
Lake Placid's Andrew Weibrecht captures the bronze medal with his third-place finish in the men's Super-G at the Vancouver Winter Olympics.
Westport sweeps the MVAC basketball championships with Bo McKinley firing in 38 points and Nathan Gay adding 23 in a 72-62 victory over Willsboro. Kalika Hopkins tallies 11 points as the unbeaten Westport girls defeat Indian Lake/Long Lake 31-27. The Eagles play without leading scorer Willa McKinley, who suffered an ankle injury the day before in practice. Carli Reynolds scores 14 for the Orange.
Steve Thomas scores 18 points to lead Plattsburgh State to a 75-74 triumph over Brockport, clinching the No. 1 seed for the SUNYAC tournament.

Chateaugay’s Nate Bilow goes over 1,000 points for his career in a victory over Colton-Pierrepont.

Brady Pratt’s power-play goal late in the third period lifts Saranac Lake to a 1-0 win over previously unbeaten Seton Catholic.
Jim Shea wins a gold medal in skeleton at the inaugural Goodwill Games in Lake Placid. The four-day competition sponsored by Turner Broadcasting attracts 450 world-class athletes and 50,000 spectators.
Chris Verkey and Corey Davison combine to claim 7 firsts to lead Plattsburgh State to a second-place finish in the SUNYAC indoor track & field championships, the Cardinals’ best showing ever.

Former Seton Catholic standout Scott Silva scores 22 points to lead Potsdam State past Plattsburgh, 76-71.
Erik Willette scores 22 points and grabs 17 rebounds while Tim LaCount chips in with 26 and Tim Fay stars defensively as Northeastern Clinton defeats Beekmantown, 62-55, to wrap up its first CVAC Div. I title.
David LaClair and Seth Charles win the final two matches to give Saranac a 25-23 win over previously unbeaten Northern Adirondack. However, NAC wins the CVAC wrestling title by virtue of its 9-point win in the first meeting.
