WILLSBORO — Kaden Baugh and Kevin Murray both played an outstanding game, totaling 23 points apiece, as Seton Catholic defeated Willsboro 62-45 in boys’ Northern Basketball League action Thursday.

Baugh added six rebounds and six assists, while Murray accounted for seven boards and five helpers.

Poor shooting hurt the Warriors in the setback.

Willsboro shot 20-of-57 from the field and went 5-for-18 from the charity stripe.

Sean Lincoln paced the Warriors with 18 points.

Nolan Murphy was one point shy of a double-double, scoring nine points on 11 rebounds.

PORT HENRY — The seventh-ranked Vikings jumped out to a 28-9 lead in the the first quarter and never looked back.

Jarrod MacDougal poured in a game-high 15 points for Moriah. Adam Jaquish was responsible for 14 points and nine rebounds.

Taylor Slattery totaled 10 points and added five assists.

“Jaquish had 10 in the first quarter, while MacDougal added in seven in the first,” Vikings coach Brian Cross said. “Trevor Brooks and Sam Huttig played well for Elizabethtown-Lewis, scoring eight points each.”

Leading the way for the visiting squad were Jay Reid, Scott Rossi and Tarik Cecunjanin.

The trio combined for 29 of Lake Placid’s points as Reid and Rossi dropped in 10 apiece, while Cecunjanin notched nine points.

The Eagles were paced by Zach Brothers and Keegan O’Connor as they both tallied 10 points in the losing effort.
