BEEKMANTOWN €" Ramona L. Macey, 77, died Thursday, May 3, 2007, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.

She was born in Plattsburgh on Aug. 3,1929, the daughter of Ernest and Josephine Brown.

She was a member of the Beekmantown Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1466 Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband, Earl F. Macey Sr., whom she married May 4, 1974; three daughters and a son-in-law, Nancy Fortin of West Chazy, Cheryl Macey of Plattsburgh, Gloria and Robin Baker of West Chazy; three sisters, Laura Norton of Port Henry, Sister Ann Mildred Brown of Newburgh, Gladys Champagne of North Port, Fla.; a brother, Clifford Brown of Crown Point; her grandchildren, Angie and Pedro Cruz of Plattsburgh, Joseph Baker of West Chazy, Timothy Corron, Jason Fortin and Corey Fortin, all of Plattsburgh; her great-grandchildren, Austin and Skyler Cruz; and several nieces and nephews.

A son, Earl F. Macey Jr.; five brothers, Orville, Morris, Jefferson, Harold and Donald Brown; three sisters, Lillian Golden, Loretta Gursky and Teresa Bola; and a granddaughter, Tina K. Corron, died before her.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the O'Neill-Redden-Drown Funeral Home, 94 Court St. in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday from St. Joseph's Church in West Chazy. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
