Shared the spirit
TO THE EDITOR: As we put the decorations of the 2019 Christmas season away for another year, we would like to take a moment to say a very special thank you to all groups, organizations and individuals who shared their Spirit of the Holidays with our residents.
Because of your generosity we were able to create wonderful memories as well as offer gifts that were appreciated by all the residents who received them. I would like to recognize them: Plattsburgh City Police for the donation of a stereo and various games; Plattsburgh Rotary Club, WoodmenLife, Guys and Gals Bowling League, Exie Duquette and all her elves, Plattsburgh State Speech and Hearing, Boys Scout Troop 8039, CV-TEC carolers, St. Joseph’s Religious Education carolers, Morrisonville Methodist Church carolers, Chazy Central School 4th-6th grade; North Country Alliance Church carolers, Beekmantown 5th grade, Champlain Senior Housing Group, Southside Head Start, First Presbyterian Church carolers, Love on a Leash group, David VanValkenburg and friends and Angela Rollier and elves, who brought in puppies to visit.
We had so many wonderful individuals who have donated items to make Christmas truly a holiday to celebrate for people of all ages. All of our residents had an opportunity to be a kid at heart and tear into their gifts. Thank you again to all and we wish you a very happy, healthy 2020.
