Whole Lotta Love

Melissa Locast (left), of Wantagh on Long Island, dances with Sarah Gooley of Plattsburgh during the closing moments of the recent Kashmir performance at the Strand Theater. Locast had brought Gooley up to the front of the crowd so she could get a better view of the stage. Kashmir, the Live Led Zeppelin Show, was formed by vocalist Jean Violet back in 2000, and ever since, the band has been re-creating for audiences around the world the live Led Zeppelin experience, complete with smoke, lasers and even a double-neck guitar similar to the Gibson that Jimmy Page used to perform “Stairway to Heaven.”For more information on upcoming Strand shows, visist strandcenter.org.
