Three people were injured in a two-car accident Wednesday night.

Plattsburgh-based State Police said Joan J. Mieszkowski, 63, of Morrisonville, was driving a 2000 Ford north on Rand Hill Road Wednesday night.

Police said Mieszkowski failed to observe Carl E. Morrow, 65, of Lyon Mountain, driving a 2003 Saturn in a westerly direction on state Route 374 and struck Morrow.

Three people were injured in the accident, two of those being Mieszkowski and Morrow.

Both Mieszkowski and Morrow were treated at CVPH Medical Center and released, said a hospital spokesperson.
