SCHROON — A Delanson, N.Y. man was charged May 23 with felony drunken driving.
Around 8:15 p.m., State Police assisted other emergency responders with an accident where a vehicle had struck guide rails on the road, State Police said.
David M. Breitenstein, 44, the driver of the vehicle, was taken by Schroon Lake EMS to Moses Ludington Hospital in Ticonderoga for evaluation.
After he was released from the hospital, he was arrested and charged with felony DWI since he has a previous DWI conviction within the past 10 years, police said.
His blood alcohol content was allegedly found to be .24.
