ALBANY (AP) — State lawmakers in New York are taking a look at spending on law enforcement, the courts and corrections.
The budget hearing scheduled for Thursday is the 11th of 13 planned hearings on the state budget.
Speakers who plan to address the legislative panel include Chief Administrative Judge Gail Prudenti, acting corrections Commissioner Anthony Annucci, State Police Superintendent Joseph D'Amico and a top official from the state's departments of homeland security.
Other law enforcement professionals and criminal justice advocacy groups are expected to participate as well.
