KEESEVILLE — A stretch of the Northway was closed for a little more than an hour on Friday morning following a fire involving high-power lines.

A high-tension pole at Exit 34 was ablaze, according to Clinton County Dispatch.

The southbound lane between Peru and Keeseville, exits 34 to 35, reopened at 8:33 a.m.


As it happened:

The southbound lane between exits 34 and 35 of I-87 was shutdown at around 7:23 this morning.
