Why did the chicken wing get so expensive?

MCKENZIE DELISLE/STAFF PHOTOMonopole Kitchen Manager Monica Warren gets a fresh batch of wings, tossed in the bar's signature Stoner wing sauce, ready to be served. Warren, an employee of two years, said current wing prices were higher now than she'd ever seen them and Corey Rosoff, owner and operator of the downtown Plattsburgh pub, echoed her sentiment, saying, "I've never seen the chicken wing market do what it's doing right now. We've changed our menu prices at least three times and we're going to be forced to raise our prices again — or just not sell wings. It's one or the other."
