Keeseville Plein Air Artists Reception. 6 to 9 p.m., Adirondack Art Association Gallery, 2748 Main Street, Essex. Reception featuring artists whose paintings will be on display until July 24. Free.

Highroad. 6 p.m., Chateaugay Town Hall Theater, 191 E Main St., Chateaugay. Country gospel group from Nashville. 6 p.m., meet and greet with the group; 7 p.m., concert begins. Free will donations will be accepted to help defray costs.

Kent-Delord House Museum Secret Gardens Tour. Noon to 5 p.m., Kent-Delord House Museum, 17 Cumberland Ave., Plattsburgh. Tickets, $15, at the museum.

 "Montcalm's Cross" Battle Re-enactment. Fort Ticonderoga, 102 Fort Ti Road, Ticonderoga. First day of a two-day battle re-enactment of the Battle of Carillon. Admission included in a general admission ticket, costing $12 to $24. Purchase at tinyurl.com/y5u6m9yg or at the gate.

Clinton County Fair. Fairgrounds, Route 22B, Morrisonville. Wristband Day with $25 wristband good for all rides (except the speed ride) until closing. Gate admission: Adult $8; children 12 and under free. Grandstand Show 3 p.m: Adirondack Tractor Pullers sponsored by Dragoon’s Farm Equipment at the Glenn Gillespie Stage sponsored by Casella Waste Management, in front of the Sample Lumber Co. 12th-annual Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association Ghost Ride. 8 a.m., Elks Lodge, 5 Tower Ave, Ticonderoga. Registration begins at 8 a.m. behind the lodge. $20 per bike or $25 per bike and rider, includes after-ride barbecue. Ride will cover about 125 miles into the High Peaks and along Lake Champlain, including gas stop along the ride, with kickstands up at 10:30 am. The annual memorial presentation with guest speakers at the Mineville Raymond "Buzz" Wright Memorial is scheduled for 11:15 am. The ride will conclude at the Ticonderoga Veterans of Foreign Wars on Shore Airport Road with a 4:30 p.m. barbecue, $10 for non-registrants. 

29th-annual Slow Pitch Softball Tournament. 8 a.m., Billy Mitchell Field, 52 Church Lane, AuSable Forks. Sponsored by the AuSable Forks Fire Department. Full concession stand.  

5 Senses Nature Walk. 10 to 11 a.m., Point au Roche State Park, 19 Camp Red Cloud Road, Beekmantown. Join a park naturalist for a short walk while using all your senses to observe the environment. All ages and abilities welcome.

2019 Lois McClure Tour. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wilcox Dock, 90 Cumberland Ave., Plattsburgh. An 88-foot full-scale replica based on shipwrecks of the mid-19th century discovered in Lake Champlain. The Lois will celebrate the International Year of the Salmon, sharing the history, ecology and conservation story of Atlantic salmon in the Champlain watershed. Free.

Saranac Lake Streetfest. 2 to 9 p.m., downtown Saranac Lake. A celebration of food, art and magic. A variety of entertainment will be offered throughout, including music, magic, food trucks and more. A full schedule of events can be found at tinyurl.com/y6ltdaoz.

Plattsburgh Shred Fest. 9 a.m. to noon, in back of the Tom Miller Road branch of Dannemora Federal Credit Union. Members and non-members may bring up to 10 banker-sized boxes of confidential materials to be shredded at no charge. The Credit Union asks that people bring non-perishable items or a cash donation to the event for the local food shelf. Eagle Country Radio 97.5 will be entertaining.

"The Raid." 7 p.m., Clinton County Historical Museum, 98 Ohio Ave., Plattsburgh. Screening on reel-to-reel film. Free, donations welcome.

Spaghetti Dinner Benefit for Laurie Duprey. 2 to 8 p.m., Champlain Veterans of Foreign Wars, 600 St. Johns Road, Champlain. Dinner and basket raffle to benefit Laurie Duprey, who is facing severe medical issues and is in need of a heart transplant. $10, adults; $5, ages 6 to 12; free, ages 5 and under. 

Solomon Northup Day. 4 to 5:30 p.m., Willsboro Central School, 29 School Lane. Solomon Northup was kidnapped and held in slavery for 12 years. He authored the memoir "Twelve Years a Slave." Speakers include Mary Liz and Paul Stewart, founders of the Underground History Project of the Capital Region, and Renee Moore, founder of Solomon Northup Day.

Ticonderoga Area Farmers Market. 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wicker Wood, 1114 Wicker St., Ticonderoga. Grand opening festival. Will include live entertainment by Sometimes Three consisting of Jessica Stoddard, Lance Clark and Mike Donahue.

Evelyn Cooper's Celebration of Life. Noon to 4 p.m., Elizabethtown Fire Department, Woodruff Street, Elizabethtown. Large raffle with more than 100 items, games for kids, music provided by DJ and a hamburger and hot dog cookout. To benefit kids and families at the UVM Children's Hospital in Evelyn's name. 

Bluff Point Lighthouse Tours. 1 to 3 p.m., Valcour Island on Lake Champlain. Docents are on hand to answer questions and provide visitors with the Valcour Island Heritage Trail Guide. Transportation to the island is the responsibility of the visitor. Free. 

Night Hawk. 6 to 8 p.m., Little AuSable Park Gazebo, 11 Pleasant St., Peru. Free. Part of Peru Summer Concert Series.

Sunday Summer Breakfast. 8 a.m. to noon, American Legion Post 1623, 3909 State Route 374, Lyon Mountain. $8, adults; $4, ages 12 and under. Takeouts available.
