PLATTSBURGH —  A Plattsburgh man was charged with felony driving while intoxicated after sheriffs pulled him over shortly after 2 a.m. June 22 for not using headlights, according to a release.

Vincent D. Place was allegedly observed by Clinton County Sheriffs to be operating a motor vehicle without headlights, the department release said, with the ensuing roadside investigation finding him to be intoxicated.

He received a felony DWI charge due to a previous conviction, as well as getting ticketed for no or inadequate headlights.

He was arraigned and released on an appearance ticket to appear in Plattsburgh City Court at a later date.
