PERSONAL INJURY ACCIDENTS
PERU — A one-car accident left a Hudson Falls man injured here June 28.
Cody C. Toor, 22, was travelling north on Interstate 87 when his 2018 Chevrolet Silverado left the east shoulder of the roadway and struck a guardrail, State Police Troop B Public Information Officer Trooper Jennifer Fleishman said.
The vehicle jumped the rail, landing in a ditch before striking a group of trees and coming to rest in the ditch facing north, Fleishman added.
Toor was transported to the University of Vermont Health Network, Champlain Valley Physician’s Hospital and was ticketed for failure to maintain lane.
MALONE — Two were injured in a tractor trailer truck crash here July 3.
Just after 10 p.m., Massena man Kenneth L. Bickford, 50, was driving a rental Freightliner tractor trailer truck west on US Route 11 when he rear-ended a 2002 Ford Focus, Fleishman said.
Malone man William F. Pickering, 43, was driving the Focus.
William and his passenger, Linda L. Pickering, 53, also of Malone, were both transported to the University of Vermont Health Network Alice Hyde Medical Center by Malone EMS for complaints of neck and back pain, respectively, Fleishman added.
Bickford was ticketed for following too closely, returnable to Malone Town Court Aug. 12.
