Plattsburgh man charged with sexual abuse

PLATTSBURGH — Plattsburgh City Police charged Timothy Lemos, 47, of Plattsburgh, for second-degree aggravated sexual abuse, a class C felony.

According to a news release from police, the arrest stems from an investigation from November of 2018 where Lemos allegedly sexually assaulted a 20-year-old female at his residence while she was incapacitated by alcohol.

Lemos was arraigned in Plattsburgh City Court on Monday, June 17, and transferred to the Clinton County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 bond.

He posted bail and was released, according to the Sheriff's Department.
