PLATTSBURGH €" Mrs. Helena LeClair, 90, of Plattsburgh passed away Sunday, April 22, 2007, at the CVPH Medical Center.

She was born in Chazy, N.Y., on Jan. 16, 1917, the daughter of Forest and Anna Locklin.

Helena enjoyed writing poetry, bowling, knitting and crocheting and spending time with her family.

She was predeceased by her parents, Forest and Anna Locklin; her husband, Charles A. LeClair; her brothers, Norman Locklin and Clifford Locklin; and her sister, Caroline Randall.

Helena is survived by three sons, Charles A. LeClair and his wife Sandra of Peru and their children, Christina Burdo and her husband Neil of Plattsburgh, Dr. William LeClair and his wife Heather of Plattsburgh, Thomas LeClair and his wife Stephanie of Plattsburgh, Deborah Coryer and her husband Michael of Peru, Karen Short and her husband Jonathan of South Glens Falls, Thomas M. LeClair and his wife Sally of Plattsburgh and their children, Darlene Winterkorn and her husband Andrew of Plattsburgh, Susan Uliva and her husband John of Peru, Mark LeClair and his wife Brett of Plattsburgh and Stephen J. LeClair and his wife Gail of Plattsburgh and their children, Matthew LeClair of Plattsburgh, Beth LeClair of Plattsburgh; a sister, Mariam Carlson of Illinois; 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday, April 26, 2007, at 2 p.m. at St. Peter's Church. Entombment will follow at Whispering Maples Mausoleum on the Tom Miller Road. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh.

Friends wishing may make donations to the Skilled Nursing Facility at CVPH Medical Center or for Masses to be said at St. Peter's Church.
