MALONE — Larry the Cable Guy will take the stage at the Franklin County Agricultural Fair next summer.

The multi-Platinum recording artist with the catch phrase "Git 'er done," will appear on Saturday, Aug. 3.

The 169th fair is set for Aug. 2 through 11, 2019.

The Cable Guy, according to a press release from the Franklin County Fair Board of Directors, is a Grammy nominee, Billboard award winner and one of the top comedians in the country. 

"He has his own line of merchandise and continues to sell out theaters and arenas across the United States," the release said.

"Larry has created The Git-R-Done Foundation, which was named after Larry’s signature catchphrase, and has donated more than $7 million to various charities."

He also has his own comedy channel, “Jeff and Larry’s Comedy Roundup,” on SIRIUSXM. 

The channel, a partnership with SIRIUSXM and Jeff Foxworthy, showcases the best in great American comedy, the release said. 

Larry the Cable Guy has starred in numerous television shows and feature films; he is the voice of Mater, in the Golden Globe-winning animated feature films "Cars," "Cars 2" and "Cars 3" from Disney/Pixar.

Tickets to the Franklin County Fair show will be available starting at 9 a.m. Monday, Dec. 3, at www.frcofair.com and at the Franklin County Fair office in Malone.
