ELIZABETHTOWN -- The Essex County Youth Bureau is participating in the Summer Food Service Program.

Meals will be provided to all children 18 years and under without charge.

Open sites at which meals are made available to all children in the area include:

Moriah Central School, Port Henry, July 5 to Aug. 9, breakfast, Monday to Friday 7:30 to 9 a.m., and lunch, Monday to Friday, 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

Ticonderoga Elementary School: July 9 to Aug. 10, breakfast, Monday to Friday, 7:30 to 8:30 a.m., and lunch, Monday to Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

Closed enrolled sites, where meals are served only to children enrolled, are:

Bloomingdale Fire House: July 5 to Aug. 10, lunch, Monday to Friday, 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

Schroon Lake Central School: July 9 to Aug. 2, breakfast, Monday to Thursday, 8 to 9 a.m., and lunch, Monday to Thursday, 11:30 a.m. to noon.

Willsboro Central School, July 9 to Aug. 17, breakfast, Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 9 a.m., and lunch, Monday to Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Crown Point Central School: July 5 to Aug. 16, breakfast, Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., and lunch, Monday to Friday, noon to 1 p.m.

At closed sites, meals will be served to all eligible children free of charge. To be eligible, children must meet the income guidelines for reduced-price meals in the National School Lunch Program. Children who are part of households that receive food stamps, or benefits under the Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations or Temporary Assistance to Needy Families are automatically eligible to receive free meals.
