PLATTSBURGH — A newly announced citizen group is promising big news today.
Plattsburgh Citizens’ Coalition Inc. debuted their formation via press release late last week.
The release says the group united in opposition to the decisions of City of Plattsburgh administration in regards to the $10 million state-funded Downtown Revitalization Initiative.
And, the release continues, the coalition was created to advance the interests of downtown businesses, service providers, employees, residents and visitors.
“The (Plattsburgh Citizens’ Coalition) advocates smart growth that enhances and improves the quality of life for all,” it says.
The group will host a press conference today at noon in front of the Lowell-Bowen Mansion at 22 Macomb St.
“Plattsburgh Citizens’ Coalition Inc. will reveal a major announcement regarding the City of Plattsburgh Downtown Revitalization Initiative,” the release says.
