Accused murderer to appear in court

Otis Grenton Jr.

PLATTSBURGH — Accused murderer Otis Lee Grenton Jr., Plattsburgh is due back in Plattsburgh City Court Wednesday morning.

The 49-year-old was charged with second-degree murder and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, both felonies, after, police say, he fatally stabbed his next-door neighbor Richard "Dickey" J. Bombard, 49, in the chest with a kitchen knife during an Aug. 24 argument.

Grenton has been in Clinton County Jail on no bail since his arrest.
