PLATTSBURGH — The Cumberland Bay Barbershoppers will take the stage for their 60th anniversary at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9 in the Stafford Middle School Auditorium in Plattsburgh.

“We were formed in 1959, so this is our 60th anniversary,” Chris Kelly, president, said.

“What we're doing is starting with songs back from '59. We're doing basically a 60-year history in barbershop songs, music from different decades.”

Guests artists include From Out of Nowhere, the Stafford Middle School Chorus; the Champlain Valley Sweet Adelines; and Nobby Reed Duo, which is a country-western outfit from Vermont.

“As we do every year, the last part of our program honors veterans,” Kelly said.

“We have a special part of our program that honors veterans of all the five services.

We have three songs that we are singing in honor of veterans and their service to the country.”

General admission is $12 and $10 for seniors and students.

Tickets available at the door day of show.
