The force is indeed strong with this one.
It's May 4th, also known as Star Wars Day, and your newsfeed is overrun with jokes, memes and people telling you "Do. Or do not. There is no try." One of the more celebrated pop-culture holidays, Star Wars Day has participants dressing up, going to parties and taking to the Internet in nerdy droves.
The date comes from a play on the iconic line from the movies "May the force be with you," and with a new film out later this year, J.J. Abrams's Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens, May 4 is a serious day of celebration for some.
Even NASA gets in on the action.
