Madison Stahl tallied 13 points to help guide Moriah to a 35-22 victory over Ticonderoga in girls’ Northern Basketball League action Tuesday.

The Vikings held a slim 9-8 lead after the first quarter before picking up the defensive pressure.

Moriah held the Sentinels to just a single combined point in the second and third quarters.

“Madison Stahl had a strong game for Moriah,” Ticonderoga coach Shelly Young said. “The first quarter was close, but Moriah pulled away in the second and third quarter with strong defensive play.”

Caitlin Pelkey added eight points for the Vikings, while Sarah Slattery chipped in with six points.

Kylie Austin led the charge for the Sentinels with 10 points.

WILLSBORO — Andrea O’Hara scored a game-high 16 points as the Warriors edged the Eagles

Willsboro jumped out to a 13-5 first quarter lead, but had to hang on late to hold off Chazy.

Allison Tatro led the way for the Eagles with 10 points. Maura Trombley chipped in with eight points.

ELIZABETHTOWN — Jasmin Barnes scored a game-high 27 points to lead the Lions over the Eagles.

Elizabethtown-Lewis jumped out to a 28-11 halftime lead to pull away early.

Barnes added nine assists, eight steals and six rebounds to go with her 27 points. Lily Whalen chipped in with 19 points, eight rebounds and seven assists. Savannah Graves hauled in eight rebounds to go with her 11 points. Emma Disogra had eight rebounds, while Angel Barnes hauled in seven.

Ellie Schwoebel and Hannah Schwoebel each tallied nine points to lead the way for Westport.

TUPPER LAKE — Katie Beach and Danielle Charland combined for 24 points to lead the Bulldogs past the Lumberjacks.

Beach led the charge with 14 points, with Charland right behind with 10. Both players connected on a pair of 3-pointers.

Chateaugay, after holding a 17-6 halftime edge, outscored Tupper Lake 24-4 in the second half.

Katie Zurek and Sidney Kulzer each had four points to pace the Lumberjacks.
