PLATTSBURGH €" ApriJai D. Wade, 3 years old, of Mildred Boulevard, Plattsburgh, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2007 at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.

She was born in Plattsburgh, June 5, 2003, the daughter of Julius T. Elmore and April V. Wade.

Elmo was "Pree's" favorite and her favorite color was red. She loved the Physical Therapy pool, being talked to and playing with other children.

Along with her parents, ApriJai is survived by her brother, Jaheim Tyrone Wade; maternal grandfather, Michael Wade and fiancée Patricia Macey of Plattsburgh; paternal grandmother, Ewana Cardoza and husband Horrace of the Bronx; maternal great-grandfather, Lloyd R. McKee Sr. of Plattsburgh; very special nurse and caregiver, Joni Torrance; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Deborah Jean Wade, July 1, 2004; paternal grandfather, Julius T. Elmore III; and maternal great-grandmother, Elsie V. McKee, Aug. 23, 2005.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, April 19, 2007, from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Peru. A prayer service will follow at the Hamilton Funeral Home at 4 p.m. Burial will be held at a later date in the Riverside Cemetery in Plattsburgh.
