PERU €" Anna Dixon, 87, formerly of Apple Valley Drive, Peru, died Friday, May 18, 2007, at Meadowbrook Healthcare in Plattsburgh.

She was born in Manhattan, Feb. 2, 1920, the daughter of Ignacz "Joe" and Kcenia "Sally" (Kuckarsky) Hupalouska. She married Edward C. Dixon in 1938. He died on June 22, 1989. Anna resided at Apple Valley Senior Housing in Peru for 25 years. She enjoyed reading, crocheting. Survivors include her five children and spouses, Ronald and Ann Dixon of New Jersey, Allen and Marion Dixon of Peru, Thomas and Pat Dixon of Maine, Richard and Susan Dixon of Indianapolis and Barbara and Paul Allen of North Carolina; grandchildren and spouses, David and Susan Dixon, Dee Dee and Greg Bleaux, Michael and Michelle Dixon, Thomas Dixon, Dennis and Sharon Digman, Steven and Shannon Digman, Chris and Rachael Digman, William and Sandy Digman, Gregory and Jeanine Dixon, Keith and Jackie Dixon, Richard and Kathleen Dixon, Sean and Kimberly Dixon and Kelly Dixon; great-grandchildren, Jessica and Dan Hickey, Gregory Bleaux, Rachel Dixon, Christy Dixon, Diana Nadin, Michael Digman, Samantha Digman, Aleasha Owen, Amber Digman, Ashley Digman, Rachel Digman, Jennifer Digman, Dylan Digman, Dustin Digman, Dominique Dixon, Nichols Dixon, Keith Dixon, Heather Dixon, Taylor Morlin, Stephen Stott; one great-great-grandchild on the way; several cousins; nieces and nephews; and all her friends at Apple Valley.

She was also predeceased by her parents; brother, Henry Hupalouska (Huplosky); and sister, Marilyn Seyka.

Calling hours will be held Monday, May 21, 2007, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Peru. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 2 p.m. at St. Augustine's Church in Peru with the Rev. William G. Reamer, CVPH chaplain, celebrating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
