First-Team Defensive Lineman
Tim Remillard (Peru)
Remillard was a leader for a Peru defense that relied on physicality. The 6-foot-1, 205-pound senior helped the Indians’ defense limit opposing teams to 110 points this season, with opponents scoring more than 20 points on just two occasions. Remillard made the Fourth Team in 2011.
Second-Team Defensive Lineman
Austin Porter (Peru)
The 6-foot-4, 260-pound defensive tackle plugged a lot of space on the defensive front. Porter helped a defense that attacked opposing quarterbacks by allowing just 583 passing yards all season. Porter was also on the Fourth-Team as a junior.
Third-Team Offensive Lineman
Alex Barrett (Peru)
The senior center manned an offensive line that helped rack up 434 points and more than 3,800 yards of total offense. Barrett, a two-year starter, immediately took over the position and made an impact throughout the season.
Honorable Mention: Mitchell Gallagher, Quarterback, (Franklin Academy). Rufus Guerin, Line, (Beekmantown). Zane Bazzano, Defensive Back, (Peru).
