---- — Camilla Varoli, a student in the fourth form (10th grade) at Kent School in Kent, Conn., was named to the honor roll for the fall term of 2012-13. Varoli is the child of Elizabeth Varoli of Lake Placid and Corrado Varoli of Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Ryan Huchro of Moriah has been named to the Dean’s List at the University at Albany with a GPA of 3.93 for the fall 2012 semester. He is majoring in psychology, with a minor in business, and will graduate in May 2013. He is the son of Martin and Kathy Huchro.

Laura Zeppieri has graduated from the Marlboro College Graduate School in Brattleboro, Vt., with a Master of Business Administration in managing for sustainability. She is the daughter of Richard and Linda Zeppieri of Plattsburgh.

Lauren Grady, a senior psychology major at the University at Albany, completed the fall 2012 semester with a 4.0 GPA. During the semester, she served as treasurer of the Presidential Honor Society, volunteered twice a week at the Boys and Girls Club of Schenectady, participated in Omicron Delta Kappa and Psi Chi honor societies and played intramural volleyball. Grady is working on her Honors College thesis, which is based on research she conducted with Dr. Mitchell Earlywine related to drugs and psychosis. She is the daughter of Bob Grady and Lois Clermont of Plattsburgh.

Marissa Horton from Saranac, who attends Cornell University, had the opportunity to meet Cargill representatives at a recent Agriculture Future of America Leaders conference. Through these interactions at a private breakfast, students were able to share their stories and learn about the job opportunities Cargill has to offer. The nonprofit education organization provides leader development programs to college students and young professionals pursuing careers in agriculture. Through this partnership, Cargill provided financial resources for student delegates to attend the Leaders Conference, which was held in November 2012, and invested time in building relationships with delegates.

Philip Saunders College of Business; Jesse Charland of Peru, a second-year student in B. Thomas Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences; Colden Cullen of Newcomb, a third-year student in B. Thomas Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences; Jordan Grimshaw of Cadyville, a fourth-year student in College of Health Sciences and Technology; Jurian Hoff of Ellenburg Center, a first-year student in B. Thomas Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences; Michaels Jebb of Ticonderoga, a fourth-year student in College of Imaging Arts and Sciences; Adam Jennett of West Chazy, a second-year student in College of Imaging Arts and Sciences; Bocephus Leduc of Rouses Point, a first-year student in Kate Gleason College of Engineering; James Marcil of Cadyville, a second-year student in B. Thomas Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences; Patrick Mischler of Morrisonville, a fifth-year student in College of Applied Science and Technology; Elliott Munger of Plattsburgh, a first-year student in B. Thomas Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences; Keegan Parrotte of Peru, a second-year student in B. Thomas Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences; Scott Pedu of Lake Placid, a second-year student in Kate Gleason College of Engineering; Louisa Sardella of Keene, a third-year student in College of Imaging Arts and Sciences; Victoria Streker of Rouses Point, a third-year student in College of Imaging Arts and Sciences.

Delaware Technical College student Heather (Gagnon) Emrick of Townsend, Del., formerly of Witherbee, is on the President’s list at Delaware Technical College with a GPA of 3.85, majoring in drug and alcohol counseling. She is the daughter of Katrinka Tromblee of Witherbee and a 1998 graduate of Moriah Central School.

Sara Gravelle of Chazy, daughter of Kyle and Bevera, has graduated cum laude from SUNY Plattsburgh with a degree in anthropology. She was a member of Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society. The Chazy Central Rural School graduate is attending graduate school at SUNY Plattsburgh for school counseling.
