O'CONNELL - A Mass of Christian burial for Mark B. O'Connell, 57, of Standish Road, Saranac, who died on Wednesday Jan. 16, 2013, at his home, was celebrated on Tuesday Jan. 22, 2013 at 10 a.m. at St. Peter's Church. The Mass was celebrated by Msgr. Dennis Duprey, pastor. The Altar server was Veronica Matott. The organist was George Shnob. The crucifix was placed by Eleanor Tart. Scripture readings were by Rebecca Langlois and David Sampson. The offertory gifts were presented by Ann Sampson and Eleanor Tart. The pall bearers were Bill Siskavich, Christopher O'Connell, Jason Terry and Wes Facteau. A delegation of Corrections Officers from Clinton Correctional Facility formed an honor guard and presented the New York State flag. Burial will be in Cadyville Protestant Cemetery later in the year.
