Virginia A. Hutchins

LEWIS — Virginia A. Hutchins, 59, of 6 French Way, Wells Hill, Lewis, N.Y., died Monday, April 22, 2013, with her husband and family by her side.

She was born in Elizabethtown, N.Y., April 21, 1954, the daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth (Pepper) Crowningshield.

She was employed by Essex County for many years, and also worked construction and for the Health Center at the Elizabethtown Community Hospital.

She enjoyed knitting and crocheting and loved her horses Lady and Ranger.

She is survived by her husband Todd Hutchins; a daughter Terri Welch and companion Scott; a son David Allen Frost and his wife Simi; her grandchildren; four brothers and their wives, Thomas and Rhonda Crowningshield of Florida, George and Lillian Crowningshield of New Russia, David and Terry Crowningshield of Lewis, Michael and Bette Crowningshield of Lewis; two sisters, Darlene and husband Ken Howard of Elizabethtown, Lizanne and fiance Bill of Tennessee; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by one sister, Barbara Pollock, April 2, 2008.
