NCCS to hold special session Thursday

CHAMPLAIN — The Northeastern Clinton Central School Board will hold a special meeting at 5:30 p.m. Thursday in the Middle/Senior High School library.

On the agenda is approval of memorandum of agreements for the Annual Professional Performance Review.

The session is open to the public.

Candidates sought for E’town planning and zoning boards

ELIZABETHTOWN — The Elizabethtown Planning Board is seeking residents interested in filling two vacancies. 

The board meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month at the Town Hall.

The Elizabethtown Zoning Board of Appeals has one vacancy and is seeking an Elizabethtown resident interested in serving. That board meets monthly on the third Thursday.

Applications sought for United Way of Adirondack funds

PLATTSBURGH — The United Way of the Adirondack Region, which serves Clinton, Essex and Franklin counties, is accepting applications from agencies and organizations wishing to become a partner agency of the United Way for fiscal year 2014.

To apply, obtain the necessary paperwork by stopping in at the United Way office, 45 Tom Miller Road in Plattsburgh or by calling 563-0028. The office is open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

All applicants must be 501-C-3 organizations and show proof of certification.

Applications must be postmarked or hand delivered by 4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, 2013.
