---- — Bisso to convene forum on the Blue Line
TUPPER LAKE — State Assembly candidate Karen Bisso (Conservative) will host a Town Hall meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Tupper Lake Rod Gun and Sports Club on Lake Simmonds Road.
She said the event will give the public and state agencies a chance to discuss life within the Blue Line.
Panelists will include a conglomerate of people from across state and local agencies. Among those invited are representatives of the Adirondack Park Agency, State Department of Environmental Conservation, Adirondack Club and Resort project developers and supporters, the American Tree Company, Protect the Adirondacks, Nature Conservancy, Association of Towns and Villages, the New York State Sportsmen Federation, Tupper Lake Town Supervisor Roger Amell and other local officials.
“Living and recreating within the Blue Line comes with many challenges that the residents of the 115th Assembly District face daily,” Bisso said in a press release.
She encouraged the public to attend “to both learn a little more about all sides of the issues and to voice their own concerns.”
