CROWN POINT — Gabe Macey and Joe Foote each scored 18 points as the Panthers rolled past the Mountaineers.

The game was relatively close at the half with Crown Point holding an 18-10 lead, but the Panthers really opened up in the second half, outscoring Minerva/Newcomb, 39-14.

WESTPORT — Charlie Huttig’s 20-point game helped carry the Lions to victory over the Eagles.

Elizabethtown-Lewis also had production from Austin Morris who scored eight points, including two 3-pointers. Cortland White helped the Lions with nine points including a fourth quarter 3-pointer that added a lot of momentum.

Ryan Davis was the leading contributor for Westport compiling a double-double with 17 points and 14 rebounds. The Eagles had a solid performance from Anderson Gay who tallied 10 points. Despite not scoring, John Doyle played solid defense in the loss.

“We played a really good game up until the fourth,” Westport coach Ike Tyler said. “We had them on the ropes for a while and they eventually just pulled ahead.”
