There were a dozen designated drivers behind the wheel, a press release said, with 23 taxis passing through.
A total 178 vehicles were stopped during that effort, the release said.
Other patrols during the six-day span resulted in five more DWI arrests with a total 20 vehicles stopped. Eight designated drivers were on the job, totaling 20 encountered by law enforcement during the Crackdown.
War of 1812 Museum adjusts visiting hours for Museum Days
PLATTSBURGH — The War of 1812 Museum will be closed on Friday, June 6, in preparation for Museum Days weekend and the grand opening of Plattsburgh Air Force Base Museum, set for 11 a.m. Saturday, June 7, at 31 Washington Road on the Old Base.
The War of 1812 Museum will be open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. during Museum Days weekend on June 7 and 8 and will then resume its regular business hours of 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.
Starting Wednesday, June 11, the Air Force Base Museum will follow the same schedule.

ELCS Board to discuss opinion poll on Veterans Exemption
ELIZABETHTOWN — The Elizabethtown-Lewis Central School Board will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 10, in the Conference Room.
It is anticipated the board will convene in executive session immediately to discuss negotiations, gather advice of counsel and discuss employment history of particular employees.
The board will reconvene in public session at 7 p.m. to: recognize outgoing board members; adopt district policies pertaining to students, programs for students, smoking and other tobacco use on school premises and School District administrative staff; consider various personnel appointments; and receive the report on the opinion survey for the Veterans Exemption.
