Clover Campaignon now to support4-H programs

PLATTSBURGH — The spring 2014 Paper Clover Campaign is going on now through May 4 at Tractor Supply, raising money for state and local 4-H programming.

Tractor Supply Company has hosted the fundraiser nationally for four years, inviting patrons to buy paper clovers for $1 or more as they check out at the store.

Donations help support scholarships for Clinton County 4-Hers to travel to leadership conferences and other club events and this fundraiser will also go toward a new volunteer training and recruitment effort that would allow more youth to become involved in 4-H, a press release said.

In four years across 48 states, the Paper Clover Campaign has provided more than $3.3 million to 4-H across the country.
