CADYVILLE — Thomas S. Parker, 89, of Burnt Hill Rd., died Tuesday July 23, 2013 at CVPH Medical Center. He was born in New York, N.Y., on Oct. 21, 1923, the son of Joseph and Mollie Procino.
Thomas was an Army Veteran serving from 1943 to 1946. He Married Rose (Ruest) Parenteau on July 31, 1956. He was an Air Transport mechanic, retiring in 1992.
Survivors include his wife, Rose of Cadyville; a stepson, Daniel Parenteau and his wife Ginette of Sherbrook, PQ; a stepdaughter, Monique Dupre and her husband Romeo of Sherbrook, PQ; a sister, Rose Wassemen and her husband Alley of Westchester, N.Y.; 4 stepgrandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Calling Hours will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday, July 26, at the R. W. Walker Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday in the Robert W. Walker Memorial Chapel. Entombment will follow in Whispering Maples Memorial Gardens, Tom Miller Rd., Plattsburgh.
