Rose Ann (Quincey) Willse

PENSACOLA, FLA. — Rose Ann (Quincey) WilIse, 63, of Pensacola, Fla., formerly of 39 Oak Street, Plattsburgh, N.Y., passed away Thursday, Aug 1, 2013, at Covenant Hospice in Pensacola, Fla. She was born in Plattsburgh, N.Y., on Jan. 9, 1950, the daughter of James Cameron Quincey and Isabelle (Monty) Quincey.

She previously worked as a medication and treatment nurse at Meadow Brook Nursing Home in Plattsburgh, N.Y., and she was Charge Nurse at Pulaski Correctional Facility in Little Rock, Ark. She was a member of the Eastern Star Jewel Chapter 362 in North Little Rock, and Past worthy matron of Mary Williams Chapter also in Little Rock, Ark, where she lived for many years while raising her family.

Survivors include three sons, Rikki Willse and his wife Kim of Little Rock, Ark., Bruce Willse Jr., and Kenneth Willse of Pensacola, Fla.; One daughter, Jessica Willse of Las Vegas, Nev.; three grandchildren, Tristan and Olivia Willse of Little Rock, Ark., and Bruce Willse Ill of Pensacola, Fla.; a sister, Carol Chyr and her fiance Spencer Bosworth of Plattsburgh, N.Y.; a half brother, Edgar James Quincey and his wife Lynn of Bedford Texas; a half sister, Marion Renee McDaniels of Lake Charles, La.; an aunts and uncles, Gordon and Shirley Quincey of Plattsburgh, N.Y., William and Carol Maxwell of Newburg, N.Y.; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Rose was predeceased by her Father, James C Quincey; her Mother, Isabelle (Monty) Maxwell; and Stepfather, Kenneth J. Maxwell.

At Rose's request, burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Donations in her memory may be made to the American Lung Association and the American Heart Association.
