Beekmantown girls capture CVAC bowling title

PLATTSBURGH — Taylor Lavalley tossed a 257 game and finished with a 634 series to lead Beekmantown to a sweep of Ticonderoga in girls’ Champlain Valley Athletic Conference bowling.

With the victory, the Eagles captured the CVAC regular season title.

Paedyn Mattioli and Sabrina Manning each chipped in with matching 557 series for Beekmantown.

Jordan McKee (563) and Jeanette Coon (512) paced the Sentinels.

Seven Eagle bowlers eclipsed 600 series led by Austin Delisle (679) and Matt Corrow (675) in their sweep of Ticonderoga in boys’ bowling.

Matt Dwyer (633), Andrew Roberts (643), Ryan Munson (633), Ryan Douglas (629) and James St. Denis (648) also went over the mark for Beekmantown.

Cole Frasier paced the Sentinels with a 648 series, while Konner Bruce added a 588.

WILLSBORO — Tanner Whalen rolled a high series of 451 to help pace the Vikings Tuesday afternoon.

Tom Rancour and Dillon Adkins also bowled 400 series for Moriah, which improved to 31.5-100.5 on the year.

Willsboro’s high men were Tyler Briggs (147-168-167-482) and Dakoda Latford (151-144-171-466).

On the girls side, it was Alyson Arnold who paced the Warriors to a victory, rolling a 173-152-144-469 series. Gabi Yeager followed with a 461 series and Lilly Kelly with a 402.

Alice Cochran led the Vikings with a 290 series.

PLATTSBURGH — Brianna Smith tossed her first career 600 series to lead the Cougars over the Indians.

Smith finished with games of 209, 248 and 182 to finish with a 639. Madison Dumas chipped in with a 508 series.
