PLATTSBURGH — Weather permitting, there will be a Blind Draw Tournament on Sunday Nov. 18 at the Barracks. The start time is 10 a.m.
Full handicap will be used and teams will be drawn after play is finished. Cost is $25 per player and non-members will be charged $20 for green fees and a cart. Seniors may play from the senior tees if their handicap has been established from there.

Adirondack Mountain Club holding hike on Nov.17
PLATTSBURGH — On Saturday, Nov. 17 the public is invited to join the Algonquin Chapter of the Adirondack Mountain Club for a hike up the Lake Road in St. Huberts.
There will be side trips to Rainbow Falls and Beaver Meadow Falls. This hike is considered moderate. No dogs are allowed in the AuSable Club Preserve as well as no hunting of any kind.

Local golfer named All-Conference team
MOOERS — Northeastern Clinton Central School graduate Jessica VanLeuvan has been named to the Empire 8 All-Conference golf team. VanLeuvan is a senior at Elmira College.
Waves swim at Trick-or-Treat meet in Troy
TROY — The Lake Champlain Waves Swim Team sent 23 swimmers to the annual Trick-or-Treat meet held at the Robinson Pool on the Campus of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute on Oct. 21.
The Waves were represented by Olivia Barnett, Syndney Barnett, Stella Boolukos-Brinker, Lydia Brown, Alesi Cook, Matthew Evans, Benjamin Ford, Mikayla Fountain, Alexandrea LaValley, Emelia Lemza, Madeline Lemza, Garrett Lemza, Cameron Matthews, Allison McCormick, Henry McCormick, Emily McLane, Barrett Miller, Luke Moore, Caroline Nizel, Mikaela Raymond, Hayden Reidy, Meghan Sorrell and Patrick Vinencio.
Over 600 swimmers participated in the event with Matthew Evans place third in the 50 freestyle and sixth in the 100 freestyle. Ben Ford placed ninth in the 100 backstroke and Garrett Lemza placed seventh in the 50 backstroke.

Town of Saranac basketball sign-ups Nov. 19 and 21
SARANAC — The Town of Saranac will hold registration for basketball at the Town Hall on Nov. 19 and 21 from 6:30-8 p.m.
A coach is needed for the first and second grade co-ed team. There will also be a youth commission meeting at 6 p.m. It is imperative that all parents and coaches show up for registration to fill out the proper forms.
North Bowl Lanes to host Demo Day
PLATTSBURGH — North Bowl Lanes and Ebonite International will be hosting a four brand (Ebonite, Track, Hammer, and Columbia 300) Demo Day on Dec. 2. Sign up times are 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m.
The cost is $10 and will include an hour of bowling with the Ebonite staff on the lanes to assist you. Snacks will be served and special discounts for participants on all Ebonite International equipment.
