As far as assault weapons go, the list keeps broadening. In my life, I have been exposed to a few so-called assault weapons, and I remain unscathed.

I have never seen a “scary-looking weapon” — that being one I’m looking down the business end of the barrel of while being controlled by an individual with questionable intentions.

Regarding those who preach that assault weapons and large-capacity magazines serve no purpose to civilians, what about competitions that use such firearms and accessories? Or collectors, plinkers, hobbyists, gunsmiths, etc.? Anti’s don’t care. I wonder how many well-to-do anti’s have armed security?

Now the latest backdoor attempt to register some gun owners. Give them license plates identifying them as “hunters” (gun owners), thereby entering them in the DMV database. Clever.

Lastly, It’s laughable how the governor tries to relate to hunters. “I own a shotgun,” he claims. I’ll bet he doesn’t know how to properly load and unload said weapon.
