---- — ELIZABETHTOWN — A Willsboro woman was charged with criminal mischief and assault Saturday.
Jessica L. Decker, 26, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, a felony; two counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief, a misdemeanor; third-degree assault, a misdemeanor; two counts of third-degree attempted assault, a misdemeanor; resisting arrest, a misdemeanor; disorderly conduct, a violation and second-degree obstruction of governmental administration, a misdemeanor.
At about 10:30 p.m., troopers responded to 76 Water Street in Elizabethtown for a report of domestic violence, State Police said in a news release.
In the dispute, Decker bit the person’s face, causing injury to the person, police said.
Decker also damaged multiple items at the residence, attempted to assault troopers and resisted arrest, police said.
In addition, she kicked the windshield of a trooper’s patrol vehicle after her arrest, causing it to shatter, police said.
In connection with the same domestic dispute, Kyle P. Gowett, 23, was charged with second-degree harassment and obstruction of governmental administration, police said.
Decker was arraigned in Elizabethtown Town Court and was sent to the Essex County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond, police said.
She is to reappear in court on December 12.
Gowett was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Elizabethtown Town Court Thursday, police said.
