PLATTSBURGH — A Plattsburgh woman was arrested Sunday for allegedly violating the terms of her probation.

Clinton County sheriff’s deputies arrested Ann L. Drollette, 51, at her Plattsburgh residence on a warrant issued by Clinton County Court, according to a news release from the Sheriff’s Department.

Drollette was originally convicted of felony aggravated driving while intoxicated on March 20, 2013, the Sheriff’s Department said.

She was sent to Clinton County Correctional Facility without bail and will face the allegations in court at a later date.

PLATTSBURGH — A Plattsburgh man was charged Feb. 22 with assault.

At about 1 a.m. on Broad Street near Geoffrey’s Pub in Plattsburgh, a fight broke out between Tyler Monahan, 22, of Plattsburgh and a West Chazy man, Plattsburgh City Police said.

At one point during the fight, the West Chazy man was knocked unconscious, and sustained multiple injuries when he was not alert, police said.

The alleged victim was bleeding profusely from a large cut on his upper and lower lips and he had severe swelling caused by facial lacerations as well as a broken front tooth, police said.

The man was taken to CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh for treatment.

Alcohol was a factor in the crime, police said.

Monahan was charged with second-degree assault, a felony, and was arraigned in Plattsburgh City Court.

He will reappear in court at a later date.

MALONE — An state prison inmate was charged Jan. 27 with criminal contempt.

Eric Jones, 38, of Malone violated an order of protection, State Police said.

He was charged with three counts of first-degree criminal contempt, a felony.

Jones was arraigned in Franklin County Court and returned to prison, police said.


BELLMONT — Four people were injured Feb. 22 in a one-car accident.

Shortly before 6:43 p.m., Chereese M. Lagrave, 29, of Malone was driving south on Route 190 in the Town of Bellmont when she drove over black ice, lost control and struck a snow embankment, State Police said.
